At Moor Beer in Bristol, there’s a real focus on quality, social responsibility and service to the community. Californians Justin and Maryann Hawke have won numerous awards for their beers since they took over the brewery in 2007.
They’ve brought a taste of California to the range too, reviving the quality and flavour of the existing range and brewing new varieties – both for the core range and new and exciting speciality blends.
Every single beer is unfiltered, retaining both yeast for flavour and vitamins, and every Moor beer is brewed only with natural ingredients: the best quality hops, malt, yeast and water.
From everyday favourites such as their hoppy Revival pale ale to specials such as the Smokey Horyzon – a 5% smoked pale ale – the Moor range is sold in pubs throughout the South West as well as in smaller containers and bottles to take home.
Even better, you can visit Moor Beer at their Days Road, Bristol home: their shop, selling beer and merchandise, is open from 10am to 5pm seven days a week. On-site, you’ll also find their Tap, where you can enjoy a regularly changing selection of their beers from can, bottle, cask and keg (or soft or hot drinks if you’d prefer). The Tap can also be booked out for private functions and events.
