Mulled cider is a wonderful winter warmer to enjoy over the holidays. We like to make a batch this Thatchers Cider family recipe when we’re after something delicious to sip on as we’re wrapping presents:
- 4 pints Thatchers Gold, Stan’s Traditional or Big Apple.
- Half a cinnamon stick
- A pinch of allspice
- 2 slices of ginger
- Orange and lemon slices
- Fill a pan with 4 pints of cider and add the rest of the ingredients.
- Simmer gently for around 30 minutes, being careful not to let the mixture boil.
- Serve with slices of fruit and enjoy.
For an extra twist, add a shot of rum or sloe gin!
