‘Down at the Riverside’ this summer

West Bay is always special but when the sun is shining it really is at its best. Last week was very hot and sunny and everyone is keeping their fingers crossed that this will continue for the rest of July and August.

Riverside Restaurant West Bay Summer

In August, to accommodate increased demand, the Riverside Restaurant at West Bay will be opening every day (except Mondays) for lunch and dinner – including Sunday evenings – which can be served in the restaurant or al fresco on their lawn overlooking the River Brit and looking towards the harbour, if the weather is good. The menu changes daily depending on the day’s catch and market availability, however there are sample menus available to view on their website at Booking is always advisable, call 01308 422011.

For the first time they will serving a seafood BBQ on the lawn in the afternoons, Tuesday to Sunday, 2.30 – 6.30 pm (weather permitting) –booking is not necessary, just turn up to enjoy the best local fish and shellfish cooked freshly for you by one of chefs from the award winning kitchen.
