A New Look for Puxton Farm Shop & Butchers

Over the past few months, there have been some major changes to Puxton Park Farm Shop & Butchers in Hewish, Somerset.

Puxton farm shop

While maintaining their rustic, farm to table roots, the farm shop now boasts a new fresh, modern feel. The award-winning farm shop is still brimming with homemade goodies, local fruit and veg and a wonderful selection of products from local and artisan producers. Proud to support small, local businesses, the farm shop shelves are stocked with unique and flavourful items that range from delicious chutneys, freshly baked loaves of bread to exclusive brands of quality gin.

Puxton Farm Shop offers a superb range of fresh produce and locally produced products and has everything you need for your weekly shop under one roof. The farm shop food emporium is bursting with only the finest quality locally sourced produce, as well as meat from their Master Butchers counter. Their passion for supporting local suppliers is manifested through the carefully selected range of cheeses, produce, bread and groceries from quality firms within a 20-mile radius. You can therefore be guaranteed a fantastic choice of tasty, fresh goods from your local area. The butchery department features traditionally-reared farm fresh meat as we;; as poultry and game from Puxton’s very own farm. The friendly, skilled butchers can offer advice and will ensure that your meat is prepared to your exact requirements. The commitment to quality is from the pasture to the plate with all meat and free-range poultry fully traceable and sourced from farmers who have been specially selected by the family for their commitment to quality and high standards of breeding and feeding.

The deli-counter offers a wide range of West Country cheese, including Wookey Hole cave-aged cheddar, Somerset Brie, Colston Basset Stilton, as well as a large range of cheese from local producers such as Times Past Dairy in Draycott. Then of course, they offer Gorwydd Caerphilly, winner of the super gold medal at the 2016 World Cheese Awards, which is made on-site using milk from Puxton’s very own dairy herd.

With a commitment to providing high quality, fresh food for a reasonable price you can, therefore, be guaranteed a fantastic choice of tasty, fresh goods from Puxton Farm Shop. Whether you prefer to cook from scratch or need convenience food made with top quality ingredients by skilled local producers, you will find something hearty and delicious to make in the comfort of your own home. The newly added homeware and clothing departments feature quirky and charming items that will most certainly make their way home with you.  There is also a well-stocked gift shop for souvenirs, toys, books and games if you are looking to buy presents for the children in your life. From Moshi Monsters gardening equipment or Tractor Ted clothes and tableware to official JCB models or Peppa Pig musical instruments, there’s something to capture every kid’s tastes and passions.
