Hello. I picked up a copy at Philip Warren’s butchers at Launceston. I was really impressed with the quality of the magazine. All of the articles were interesting and I found a lot of useful tips. Especially about Christmas lunch as I am a veggie cooking it for several people who are not! I think I’ll stick to cooking beef though – at least I know if that has a raw bit in the middle, it won’t kill them! Am also really looking forward to trying the mincemeat ice cream and chocolate and almond parfait. I might even roll up my sleeves and attempt to make the sugar paste snowmen to go on top of cupcakes,  that’ll impress my children. ..or give them a belly laugh depending on the results!  Thanks again.

For any of you “Foodies”, I came across this lovely FREE (yes, free) magazine at the Exeter Food Festival yesterday. Lots of lovely seasonal recipes and local offers etc. It is also available online, or £15 for delivery, and I don’t think you need to be living in W Country to enjoy. For those of you living in W Country, it can be picked up at Lakeland for free. I don’t know if there are any similar mags for other counties, it might be worth a look.
