Christmas will soon be upon us and this week sees three festive events across the West Country from some of our favourite producers…
Join Farrington’s for their Christmas Preview Evening on Thursday 7th December between 4–8pm. Sample homemade luxury Christmas goodies, meet local food and drink producers, and find that perfect gift.
Visit Farrington’s Deli to sample a selection of artisan cheeses, chutneys and savoury treats. If you’re planning a party, try their tempting range of homemade pies, pork pies, sausage rolls and scotch eggs. They’ll also be offering advice on putting together the perfect Christmas cheeseboard.
Try the delicious ‘Gleefully’ gluten-free range from Pullin’s bakery, made fresh on site at Farrington’s, and if you’re still hungry for more, visit the Fish & Chip Shop which will be open all evening. Eat, drink, shop and be merry!
On Friday 8 December from 4pm to 8pm, Jon Thorner’s invites you to a Christmas Open Evening to get you into the festive spirit. Try handmade chocolates and desserts, specially brewed tipples, locally made cheeses and preserves from our host of local suppliers, as well as a range of Christmas meats. Enjoy a complimentary mince pie, welcome drink and a Jon Thorner’s favourite, Brittens freshly cooked hot chips.
A most magical fair, full of temptation and edible delights. Amble around the gardens before browsing unique and wonderful gifts from a mixture of craft and food stalls in the new Garden Room venue. Stay after dark and experience the Winter Illuminations – Rosemoor’s ‘Glow’ – and enjoy a meal in the Garden Kitchen restaurant (evening bookings are advisable). Join us from Friday 8 December until Sunday 10 December from 10am to 6pm (4pm on the Sunday) in the Garden Room. Normal garden admission – free for RHS members.
