This January, Riverford Field Kitchen will be running a marmalade-making workshop as the perfect antidote to the mayhem of Christmas and New Year. So why not head along, get your apron ready and get peeling, slicing and simmering. We can almost smell the distinctive bittersweet aroma of Seville oranges just thinking about it!
Riverford Field Kitchen’s expert hosts, Pam the Jam and Liz the Pickle, will share their top tips for making Seville orange and other citrus fruit marmalades and will guide you step by step as you make your own. You’ll be shown two methods for making traditional marmalade as well as a fruity reduced sugar marmalade. They will also show you how to make limoncello and the best ever lemon curd.
The marmalade workshop starts with coffee at 9.30am and finishes at 3pm. There will also be a light, seasonal lunch. At the end of the day you will take home everything you made plus a selection of what Pam and Liz demo’d.
When: Monday 28th January
