‘My career has always been in advertising and marketing. From managing campaigns in magazines and online through to consumer and trade events. As a FOODLOVER I am passionate about local food and even grow my own fruit and veg. I have always lived in Bristol and I love the West Country for all the amazing produce on our doorstep. I really get involved with the local food community and often attend the local farmers’ markets and food festivals. As a new team member, I am really keen to make FOODLOVER magazine the best home cooking companion and foodie read in the West Country. I always strive to get my customers a good response. Customer satisfaction is always a priority for me and I think with FOODLOVER there are so many options this should easily be achieved’
‘I started work in newspaper advertising sales 16 years ago and after a break to have my family I’m looking forward to working not only in a job that I totally enjoy but on a subject very close to my heart. My passion for buying locally started when I had my family and I spent many hours out walking in my local area and discovered a host of outlets offering different products. I’m very lucky to live in an area with wonderful butchers, deli’s, bakers and retailers offering a huge variety of different ingredients and taste sensations. I like to know where my meat and vegetables have come from and the quality of the products is outstanding.’

“With over 20 years’ experience in graphic design I specialises in logo and editorial design. I have worked for numerous national magazine titles in many different sectors. However growing up on a farm and living in the West Country all my life makes FOODLOVER such a special project for me and am proud to be part of the team.
I also love to get creative in the kitchen decorating novelty cakes for friends and family. When not in the office or the kitchen you will most likely find me hurling myself around playing Ultimate Frisbee!”
