Finding one that matches the high quality of your brand with an editorial integrity to match is hens teeth country! “We have worked with FOODLOVER from the start and are proud to be part of the region’s leading magazine devoted to food. Working with Lindsay and the team has been an absolute pleasure. Their combined passion for FOODLOVER and drive to maximise benefits for advertisers is a key reason for its success. The quality of content, particularly the recipes, puts it up there with many of the paid for titles. I have no doubt that FOODLOVER will continue to go from strength to strength.”

The mix of traditional advertising and advertorials was what really attracted us and the online support through the website and twitter is an added bonus! A great way to get your brand out, about and noticed whilst working with people who really know their stuff when it comes to local food.”

“Well done on the magazine. This must be one of, if not the, best free publication I have seen in many years.”
David Thomson, Pro Publications International Ltd
“I’m really impressed by The West Country FOODLOVER magazine! We have traditionally found it very difficult to attract customers through magazines; since placing an advertorial in the FOODLOVER magazine we have had many more enquiries and promo code users than we have ever had in others. It’s very striking , the layout, paper quality and visuals are excellent and it’s exactly the kind of magazine we are about. It is great for all target audiences- an interesting, informative, great recipes and enjoyable read. Well done Lindsay, JP and Becci!”
Anna Bury, Eversfield Organic in Devon
“Our customers seem to really like this magazine… they find it interesting with some good articles and nice recipes.”
Steph, Lakeland in Truro
“In the food trade, quality is paramount so I was delighted to come across FOODLOVER: a regional publication clearly working to national media standards. I was so impressed with the magazine that I immediately wanted to be involved, and so now I write my ‘Chef’s Tips’ for every issue. I would highly recommend this title to people who are passionate about food and to businesses across the South West.”
Peter Gorton, Masterchef of Great Britain
“Got my latest FOODLOVER through the post last week looks lovely! Recipes will be keeping me busy for a little while, will I get a reminder through when my subscription runs out do you think?”
Oriana Humphryes, strawberrymarketing.com
“Anything that celebrates the devoted producers across the West Country gets our vote, and JP and the team do a great job of pulling together the collective energy and enthusiasm for great food in our region. A pleasure to work with this very professional team.”
Rachel Lovell, Riverford
“With all their delicious recipes focussing on local and seasonal, FOODLOVER is a great source of foodie inspiration, reflecting what we champion in-store. It’s a good read for those that stop in the café too, who like to flick through over a coffee or lunch and take it home for later.”
Laura Elliott, The Better Food Company
“The Magazine has arrived and it is SO good. Looking forward to doing business!”
Jennie Keeler, Tregassow Asparagus
“We are very lucky to live and work in such a beautiful part of the country and equally as lucky to have such a high-quality publication in the form of FOODLOVER right on our doorstep, bringing us food related news from around our region. The magazine is always crammed full of scrummy recipes and the ratio of editorial to advertising is spot on which is great for both the reader and the advertiser. The speed that copies disappear off the counter is a clear indicator of just how popular it is with the public too. Lindsay, JP and their team are passionate about what they produce and rightly so. Keep up the good work!”
Jon Dart, Harts of Stur
“It’s great to work with JP and the FOODLOVER team and know we are reaching foodies throughout the South West with news about the Exeter Food Festival. The magazine format is really fresh and friendly and full of tempting recipes!”

Congratulations on an excellent magazine. It is enjoyed by all the family.
Why do your recipes and pictures make my mouth water SO much, so many tips and recipes I never have time to try them all, but the ones I do always taste great and always get great feedback (but people think I am a whizz, but in fact its you)
Got my latest FOODLOVER through the post last week looks lovely! Recipes will be keeping me busy for a little while, will I get a reminder through when my subscription runs out do you think?

I was running at the gym earlier and spotted your magazine for the first time! I loved it and actually my trip to the gym was shortened as I didn’t stop reading the magazine till the end.
Alison Bradley, Great British Bake Off contestant
I love the magazine. I wrote all the dates in my diary of the various events you listed and described in the hope that we could manage something and I have kept it on the side as I dip in and out of it from time to time. Its got a good focus for practical foodies like us. We make all our own butter and this weekend we hope to harvest the gooseberries from our allotment.
Hi, I am renewing my subscription and also adding a young friend of mine who is fanatical about FOODLOVER. Thanks!
Just a quick email to say how much I enjoy your magazine. The recipes are amazing. I haven’t bought any bread since you published the recipe for the Classic Russian Black Bread. It is the very nicest bread I have ever made, and tomorrow I shall be making loaf number 6!!
Hello. I picked up a copy at Philip Warren’s butchers at Launceston. I was really impressed with the quality of the magazine. All of the articles were interesting and I found a lot of useful tips. Especially about Christmas lunch as I am a veggie cooking it for several people who are not! I think I’ll stick to cooking beef though – at least I know if that has a raw bit in the middle, it won’t kill them! Am also really looking forward to trying the mincemeat ice cream and chocolate and almond parfait. I might even roll up my sleeves and attempt to make the sugar paste snowmen to go on top of cupcakes, that’ll impress my children. ..or give them a belly laugh depending on the results! Thanks again.
For any of you “Foodies”, I came across this lovely FREE (yes, free) magazine at the Exeter Food Festival yesterday. Lots of lovely seasonal recipes and local offers etc. It is also available online, or £15 for delivery, and I don’t think you need to be living in W Country to enjoy. For those of you living in W Country, it can be picked up at Lakeland for free. I don’t know if there are any similar mags for other counties, it might be worth a look.
Thank you very much for running the foodie prize competitions. I was lucky enough to win the mixed boxes of Portlebay Popcorn, which are delicious. Keep up the good work on the magazine; I really loved the section on cooking on a budget and frugal recipes.
I just picked up a copy of your magazine No19 from my favourite farm shop in West Penwith, Higher Trenowin Farm. Your magazine is great, you’ve really got it all together. Thank you, it really raises the profile of any shop with such a professional approach.
