Have a Curds & Croust Christmas

Bringing the best to your festive cheeseboards…

Curds and croust cheese

Christmas wouldn’t be the most wonderful time of the year without your own carefully selected array of food and drink, shared with friends and family before, on and after the 25th December.

Beyond the choice of turkey or ham, the joyous array of vegetables and of course those sumptuous desserts, what you really need is a delicious Christmas cheeseboard. Traditionally presented after puddings, it’s a clear moment of celebration that deserves the very best of selections.

Curds & Croust, set up by master cheesemaker, Martin Gaylard, produces quality Cornish cheeses with truly artisan characteristics that have, in just over a year, already won many prestigious awards. “It can be a matter of pride to produce for the table a group of fine cheeses at Christmas. We can’t quite believe that in such a short time we have won so many awards – our truffle brie (The Truffler) was awarded double gold. This was also a winner in the prestigious Global Cheese Awards alongside our camembert (Boy Laity) which were both awarded silver.”

In a collection that has been created to be distinctively memorable, the range currently consists of three artisan soft cheeses: a creamy soft brie (Miss Wenna); the rich bold and buttery camembert; and the earthy truffle brie with its truly unique character. Your Christmas cheeseboard just wouldn’t be the same without them.

Curds & Croust is available across good delis and farm shops throughout Cornwall. If you haven’t done so already, give them a try!
